I set out to build a simple service focusing on finding basic cell phones for users who don't want, or need, the latest model mobile phone, figuring there are more people than myself finding all the bells and whistles of today a little over the top when you use your phone primarily for talking and perhaps doing a little texting now and then. Then I remembered back in the 80's when my dad (who's always been a little gadget crazy) brought home one of the first available "mobile" phones and how fantastic I thought it was despite looking and weighing in as a brick, not to mention the battery pack. Although he used that phone for several years it soon became hopelessly outdated and was demoted to being fixed in a car while better, lighter and more user friendly models took its place. In short: Top mobile phones of today will soon be basic cell phones of tomorrow.

That's why this site now presents most available phone models and my aim is to help you find the best cell phone deals possible while also presenting unbiased reviews of many models. Being an avid surfer (online) and genuinly hating intrusive advertising I also want you to have a hassle free experience and to find what you're looking for with as few clicks as possible.
